Who We Are
RCCG Mount Carmel Parish is a dynamic expression of the Redeemed Christian Church of God vision — committed to holiness, excellence, and global impact.
Planted with a mandate to bring light to Liverpool and beyond, the parish has grown into a thriving community of believers passionate about worship, the Word, and winning souls. Over time, God has helped us build a strong spiritual culture rooted in prayer, sound teaching, and genuine love.
We continue to evolve as a church without losing our core identity — raising kingdom ambassadors for such a time as this.
HISTORY
RCCG Mount Carmel Parish is one of the several Parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide.
The RCCG was founded by Pa Josiah Akindayomi in 1952, after a Divine Encounter and Covenant with God. The Church continued until in the early 70’s when the Lord spoke to Pa Akindayomi about his successor.
Based on the Lord’s description and leading, Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye was installed as the General Overseer of the RCCG in 1986. As at that time, the Church had 39 Parishes in Nigeria. By 1980, the founder went to be with the Lord.
Thereafter, the RCCG continued a steady growth and as today, it has establishes in about 196 Nations wholewide including Europe, UK, Australia, USA, Canada, Asia, etc.
RCCG MOUNT CARMEL, LIVERPOOL
The RCCG Mount Carmel Parish started in December 2023 as a House Fellowship when we received the call of God through our Lead Pastor, Pastor Olufemi Oluwabiyi of the Divine Revelation Parish, Liverpool.
The Mount Carmel Parish was inaugurated on the 8thFebruary, 2025 and was registered with UK Charity Commission in March 2026.
RCCG Mount Carmel Parish, Liverpool continues to grow according to the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ… And on this rock, I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18b.
